Multiple Browser Windows

The testing here executes some typical customer workflows. During the tests we will try to insure that the workflow is honored and that the behavior/interactoin with having multiple browser windows opens behaves correctly.

Note: It is very important to perform this testing with each browser (and version) because they have been known to act differently from each other.

Steps To Test Details and Expectations
  • Multiple Browser Windows Test #1
    1. Click and open this PDF File
    2. Click and open this PDF File.
    3. Click and open this PDF File
    4. Execute the link in the PDF file.
    • Each PDF will open in a new browser window. The last PDF contains a weblink to a PDF.
    • The link opens another PDF file. This file should load in the same browser window that the link was executed from.
    Multiple Browser Windows Test #2
    1. Click and open PDF File in a new browser window. Window#1
    2. Click and open PDF File in another new browser window. Window#2
    3. You will now have three windows open. One with this HTML page and two with PDF files in them, which we will call Original Window.
    4. Close Window#1 and then close Window#2.
After closing Window#1 and then #2 insure that both IE and the browser are responding. Note: with Acrobat 5.0 and 5.0.5 this was a bug in IE.
